Decodes encoded image files (JPEG, PNG, ...) into an RgbImage using the platform's native codec.

EXIF orientation is not applied: cameras often store sensor-oriented pixels plus an orientation tag. Apply RgbImage.rotate yourself if your source carries such metadata.
